After your hike relax in our casual country lodge with all household amenities, and socialize with any thru-hikers who may also be staying here. The lodge is a few miles from several trailheads, and we will provide transportation to your choice of trailheads, and pick you up at a designated time at the end of your hiking day. Several sections are accessible---each app. 10 hiking miles---and we will help you plan your hikes according to your experience and preferences. Hiking experience is recommended, as these trails are moderated to difficult.

Our package includes a bag lunch for your day trek, and all necessary shuttles.

A NIGHT ON BEMIS MOUNTAIN

　Experience an overnight under the stars on the Appalachian Trail. Bemis Mt. is one of the more popular sections of hiking trails on the western Maine section of the Appalachian Trail. We arrange for you to hike the 10 mile section between So. Arm Rd. and Rte. #17 in two days, spending a night in the Bemis Mt. shelter. Previous hiking experience is recommended as the hike is difficult, and you must have your own back-packing equipment.

On the 1^st morning, get dropped off at the base of Old Blue Mt., and begin your adventure with a 3 mile uphill climb to the ridge of the Bemis Range, stay the night at the AT shelter, then continue the next day to hike the rest of the Bemis Range, coming out at Rte. #17, the Height of the Land” with spectacular views of Lake Mooselookmeguntic, and the mountain range. You will be picked up at this point at a predetermined time and driven back to the lodge for your 2^nd night’s stay.

The package consists of 2 nights at the hiker lodge, necessary shuttles , and a spaghetti supper awaiting you on your arrival back at the lodge.
